Erlanger adult acute care rehabilitation services consists of occupational therapist, certified occupational therapist, physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, and speech language pathologists. We are proud to serve at Erlanger Hospital. Erlanger is recognized as a level I trauma center, teaching hospital, comprehensive stroke center, safety net hospital, and center of excellence center for spine and orthopedics. What to do before you start:
- Obtain confirmation from DCE/academic fieldwork coordinator that placement has been acquired and clinical instructor has been secured for rotation through SCCE
- Complete allied heath student application: Graduate Student Clinical Internship Application
- Complete all forms required through TCPS and Erlanger orientation checklist

Where to go:
- Erlanger Baroness downtown (975 East 3rd Street, Chattanooga TN, 37405), Erlanger East Hospital (1755 Gunbarrel Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421)
- Enter the parking garage towards the Medical Mall, follow signs to the right
- Park on the 2nd level to allow for patients to have closer access on lower levels
- Bring parking ticket in each day for validation
- Enter the hospital at the ‘Main Entrance’ walkway on the first floor
- Take elevator D to 6th floor, exit elevator to the right and ring bell under ‘Rehab Services’ and staff member will meet you

What to wear:
- OT/COTA Level I – khaki pants and school affiliated polo or charcoal grey scrubs
- OT/COTA Level II/Capstone – charcoal grey scrubs
- PT/PTA 1st year - khaki pants and school affiliated polo or silver/light grey scrubs
- PT/PTA 2nd and 3rd year- silver/light grey scrubs
- SLP Students – navy blue scrubs
- Comfortable closed toed shoes, solid color undershirt/jacket if needed, and acceptable physical appearance for patient care
What to bring:
- University/institution affiliated ID badge
- Pen/notepad for questions
- Sailpoint/EPIC username/password
- Food/water as needed, department refrigerators are available.
Day 1: Meet with SCCE for short orientation, initial EPIC setup/overview, and tour of facility. Meet with your clinical instructor and discuss work hours, weekend rotation, vacation/short days, and exchange contact information.
