Brittany N. White, PharmD, BCPS, CACP
Internal Medicine
PGY1 Residency Program Director
Chief Clinical Pharmacist, Internal Medicine
Dr. White received her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2012 and completed her ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, TN in 2013. Her primary practice area is Internal Medicine and she holds Board Certifications in Pharmacotherapy and Anticoagulation specialties. Dr. White serves as an educator for pharmacy students and residents on Internal Medicine rotations, and also contributes to medical resident education as a faculty member of the University of Tennessee College of Medicine at Erlanger. Her daily practice involves rounding with the Academic Internal Medicine service, working to improve patient care in both acute and chronic disease state management. In her free time, Dr. White enjoys reading novels, traveling, art, and spending time with her family.
Amanda Harris, PharmD, MBA, BCPS, BCCP
Pharmacy Operations Manager
Dr. Harris received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Tennessee in 2008 then continued her educational pursuits at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, obtaining her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2013. While at UTHSC, Dr. Harris was one of the first graduates in the Doctor of Pharmacy/Master of Business Administration dual-degree program that was done in conjunction with the Fogelman College of Business at the University of Memphis. She completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at the VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System in Nashville, Tennessee in 2014 and was the inaugural PGY2 Cardiology Pharmacy Resident at the VA TVHS. Upon completion of her PGY2, Dr. Harris accepted a position as Erlanger’s Cardiology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in late 2015. Dr. Harris obtained board certification in pharmacotherapy in 2014, followed by board certification in cardiology in 2019. She was honored as the External Preceptor of the Year for South College of Pharmacy for the 2018-19 academic year. She has served as the Pharmacy Operations Manager since 2022 and is the preceptor for the longitudinal hospital practice, management, and leadership rotations of the PGY1 residency program. She volunteers with the Junior League of Chattanooga and is a Past-President of the Board of Directors. She has a strong interest in leadership and leadership development and was a member of the 2020-2021 class of Leadership Chattanooga through the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce and the 2021 inaugural cohort of Erlanger’s Emerging Leaders Program. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on the Tennessee Vols, reading, and spending time at the lake or beach. Dr. Harris served as the PGY1 Residency Director at Erlanger from 2018-2023.
Ashley Williams, PharmD, MBA
Drug Diversion/Medication Safety Specialist
Dr. Williams earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University College of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2012, followed by a MBA with a concentration in Health Services Administration from Strayer University in 2015. After completion of her PharmD, she practiced as a retail pharmacy manager for 9 years. She transitioned to hospital pharmacy in November of 2021 as the Drug Diversion/Medication Safety Specialist. She serves on the Medication Safety Committee and the Diversion Oversight Committee, amongst others. In her free time, Dr. Williams enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her two daughters.
Critical Care
Breanna Carter, PharmD, MBA, BCPS, BCCCP
Surgical/Trauma Critical Care, Nutrition Support
PGY2 Critical Care Residency Program Director
Chief Clinical Pharmacist, Critical Care & Emergency Medicine
Dr. Carter practices as a Surgical/Trauma Critical Care Specialist and Nutrition Support clinical pharmacist at Erlanger, and serves as the Residency Program Director for the PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency Program. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Butler University, Indianapolis in 2012 and completed a PGY-1 ASHP-accredited residency at Eskenazi Health, Indianapolis, Indiana in 2013. She has completed board certifications in pharmacotherapy and critical care. Dr. Carter serves as faculty for the University of Tennessee College of Medicine within the Department of Surgery, and also as a pharmacy student preceptor for the University of Tennessee, South College of Pharmacy, and East Tennessee State University. Additionally, Dr. Carter serves on many hospital committees including Critical Care Committee, ECMO Committee, Trauma Committee, and Organ Donation Advisory Committee. Her areas of interest include traumatic brain injury, delirium, nutrition support, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) with completion of the CRRT Academy at the University of Alabama. In her free time, Dr. Carter enjoys diving, snowboarding, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Jessica Briscoe, PharmD, BCCCP
Medical Critical Care
Dr. Briscoe received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. After two years working as a Health Outcomes Pharmacist in the retail pharmacy setting, Dr. Briscoe completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency at Erlanger Health System, followed by a PGY2 in Critical Care at Erlanger. Dr. Briscoe is board-certified in critical care and currently practices as a clinical pharmacy specialist in the Medical Intensive Care Unit, where she precepts PGY1 and PGY2 residents. She serves as a core preceptor for the PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency Program. Dr. Briscoe is passionate about research, earning national acclaim with a 2023 Society of Critical Care Medicine STAR Research Award. Additionally, she was honored as the 2023 Patient Safety Young Pharmacist Investigator by the Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology Section of the Society of Critical Care Medicine. Outside of work, her interests include baking, reading, hiking, and spending time with her husband and dog
Tia Collier, PharmD, BCCCP
Medical Critical Care
Dr. Tia Collier is a board-certified critical care pharmacist currently practicing as a Medical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit Clinical Pharmacy Specialist where she serves as a core preceptor for both PGY1s and the PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Resident at Erlanger Baroness Hospital. Dr. Collier received her Doctor of Pharmacy from The University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy in 2017 and completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS in 2018. She completed an ASHP-accredited PGY2 Critical Care Residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX in 2019 and then worked as the Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit and PGY2 Critical Care Residency Program Director at UNC Health REX over 5 years. Dr. Collier serves as an integral part of many hospital committees and is an active member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) and American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) Care PRN group. Her areas of interest include sedation, analgesia, and delirium management in the critically ill, infectious diseases management, toxicology, alcohol withdrawal, extracorporeal circulation, and student/resident development. In her spare time, Dr. Collier enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and spending time with her family and cat (Tori).
Christopher Wilson, PharmD, BCCCP
Cardiovascular Critical Care
Dr. Wilson serves as the cardiovascular critical care clinical pharmacist and rounds with both the Cardiothoracic Surgery and Academic Cardiology teams. After receiving his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2019, he completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency at Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, TN. He went on to complete an ASHP-accredited PGY2 Critical Care/Nutrition Support pharmacy residency at Regional One Health in Memphis, TN. He is actively involved in the pharmacy residency program as a preceptor for the elective cardiovascular critical care rotation and will serve as a core preceptor for the PGY2 Critical Care Residency Program. In his free time, Dr. Wilson loves traveling, competing in triathlons, and spending time with his family.
Emergency Medicine
Jeffery Galyon, PharmD, BCPS, BCEMP
Dr. Galyon received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree, as well as his certificate in Healthcare Informatics, from Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy in 2015. He then completed an ASHP-accredited residency in pharmacy practice at Erlanger Health System in 2016. Dr. Galyon is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist. He has served as a staff pharmacist, and also chief IV room pharmacist at the Erlanger Main Campus. His is currently the emergency department clinical pharmacist for Erlanger Health System. His areas of interest include emergency medicine, critical care medicine, informatics and standardization of services. Dr. Galyon was honored as the 2022 Erlanger Pharmacy Residency Preceptor of the Year.
Tabitha Brown, PharmD, BCPS, BCCCP
Dr. Brown earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Tennessee at Martin and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Union University College of Pharmacy in 2020. She completed an ASHP-accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice residency at Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, TN followed by an ASHP-accredited PGY-2 Critical Care residency at Johnson City Medical Center. Dr. Brown is dual board certified in pharmacotherapy and critical care, and currently practices as an emergency medicine clinical pharmacist. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her puppy, exploring Chattanooga, and watching hockey.
Infectious Diseases
Cyle White, PharmD, BCIDP
Dr. White serves as an Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Specialist and an adjunct faculty member at the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy. He completed his Bachelors degree in Biology at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN and then received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. After pharmacy school, Dr. White completed a two-year ASHP-accredited Pharmacotherapy residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center and UT College of Pharmacy in Knoxville with a focus in Academia and Infectious Diseases. Dr. White provides high level pharmaceutical care for an Infectious Diseases consult service while also running a progressive Antimicrobial Stewardship Program. He is an active member in the Tennessee Society of Health-Systems Pharmacy and the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists. Personal interests include hiking, traveling and spending time with his family.
Mitchell Thelen, PharmD
Dr. Thelen serves as an infectious diseases clinical pharmacy specialist. After receiving his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in 2022, he then completed an ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency at Prisma Health-Upstate in 2023, and subsequently an ASHP-accredited PGY-2 infectious diseases pharmacy residency at Erlanger Health System in 2024. Alongside being an active member of the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists, Dr. Thelen provides personalized, evidence-based pharmaceutical care for an infectious diseases consult service while also working within a progressive antimicrobial stewardship program. Personal interests include golfing, skateboarding, exploring Chattanooga, and spending time with his cat (Oreo).

J. Lacie Bradford, PharmD, BCPS
Family Medicine
Dr. Bradford received a Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University and then obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. She then completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee. She currently practices in collaboration with the University of Tennessee Family Medicine academic teaching service in both the acute care and primary care settings, where she serves as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents. She contributes to medical resident and student education as a faculty member with the Family Medicine Department of the University of Tennessee College of Medicine-Chattanooga. In her free time, she enjoys baking, being outside and spending time with her husband and three children.
Emily Goodwin, PharmD, BCPS

Dr. Goodwin received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Virginia Tech and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy in 2015. She then completed an ASHP- accredited PGY-1 general practice residency followed by a PGY-2 specializing in Internal Medicine at The University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. Dr. Goodwin is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist. She currently practices with the Erlanger Internal Medicine Academic Teaching Service. Personal interests include traveling, trying new restaurants and spending time with her family.
Brandy Hollums, PharmD, BCPS
UT Internal Medicine Clinic
Dr. Hollums received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2009. She obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) in 2019. She completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and PGY2 specialty residency in Internal Medicine at the Memphis VA Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee. During her residency she was also awarded a teaching certificate from the UTHSC College of Pharmacy. Dr. Hollums accepted her current position as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist and moved to Chattanooga post-residency in 2021. She practices in collaboration with the University of Tennessee Internal Medicine academic teaching service in the primary care clinic. Outside of her career, Dr. Hollums enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, spoiling her three pups, exercising, cooking, traveling and being outdoors.
Garraway A. Lyda, PharmD, BCACP, BCPS

Dr. Lyda graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2016 and then received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) College of Pharmacy in 2020. She completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, AL in 2021 followed by an ASHP-accredited PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency at Regional One Health in Memphis, TN in 2022. Prior to accepting her current position in 2024, she practiced as an Ambulatory Care Pharmacist at Regional One Health where she helped establish outpatient-based heart failure and transitions of care pharmacy services. Dr. Lyda is a Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist practicing in the primary care setting within the Erlanger Community Health Centers. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her husband and two dachshunds, Poppy and Sally.

Beatrice Turner, PharmD, BCPS

Dr. Turner received a Bachelor of Science degree from Murray State University and then obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy in 2017. She then completed an ASHP-accredited PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at Erlanger Health System in 2018. Dr. Turner is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist who practices as an Oncology Clinical Pharmacist in the Baroness Erlanger Hospital Outpatient Infusion Center.
Pediatrics
Andrea Gerwin, PharmD, BCPPS
General Pediatrics
Chief Clinical Pharmacist, Pediatrics
Dr. Gerwin received her BS in Biology from Birmingham Southern College in 2002 and then her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Samford University, McWhorter School of Pharmacy in 2009. She was an active member of Rho Chi and Phi Lambda Sigma with a special interest in vaccine advocacy. After graduation, she completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at the University of California San Francisco School of Pharmacy, Hospitals and Clinics in 2010. During her residency she was also awarded a teaching certificate from the UCSF School of Pharmacy. She is a Board Certified Pediatric Pharmacy Specialist whose interests lie in pediatric critical care, cystic fibrosis, and pediatric anti-microbial stewardship. She has recently pioneered a clinical pharmacist and technician position in the Pediatric Pulmonology clinic with grants awarded by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She is a lead member of the venous thromboembolism committee for the Children’s Hospital at Erlanger. She also serves as a stewardship liaison for the Children’s Hospital and is an active member of the Pediatric Pharmacy, Nutrition, and Therapeutics committee.
Renee Hughes, PharmD, BCPPS
Neonatology
Dr. Hughes graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2008. She then completed her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2012. She went on to complete a PGY1 Residency with a pediatrics emphasis at The Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Sacred Heart in Pensacola, Florida. Following completion of residency, she worked as a clinical staff pharmacist at Sacred Heart and as a staff pharmacist for the Children’s Hospital at Erlanger before transitioning into her current role of clinical pharmacist for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in 2017. She is a Board Certified Pediatric Pharmacy Specialist whose interests include neonatal critical care, medication safety, and antimicrobial stewardship.
