The Erlanger COPD Program provides comprehensive resources to improve the quality of life for patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). We offer expert treatment and disease management with a strong focus on education and ongoing support. The COPD Program goals and objectives are to:
- Simplify patient education
- Promote awareness of COPD
- Assist in the proper diagnosis, staging, and treatment in accordance with the Global Initiative of Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (GOLD) Guidelines
- Support COPD patients and their families throughout the continuum of their disease
- Provide COPD Disease Management and Education using navigation strategies with RT Navigators
