Dr. Priya Vijayvargiya is a board-certified gastroenterologist who specializes in motility disorders including diarrhea, constipation, and gastroparesis. She uses her medical training and extensive research experience to provide her patients with the most up-to-date and patient-centric care. Dr. Vijayvargiya’s main goal is to understand the underlying cause of her patients’ gastrointestinal symptoms in order to find the best treatment options.

After earning her Doctor of Medicine degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Dr. Vijayvargiya completed both an internal medicine residency and a gastroenterology fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She has published over 50 manuscripts and two book chapters focused on her motility research. Dr. Vijayvargiya has also presented her research at national and international medical conferences and has been honored with more than 15 awards for her excellence in the field.
