About / Overview

Dr. Joseph Pendley is a fellowship-trained general cardiologist with a passion for helping patients live longer, healthier lives. As a native Chattanoogan, Dr. Pendley attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga for his undergraduate education and received his medical degree from Lincoln Memorial College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee. Following medical school, he completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine in Knoxville, followed by a general cardiology fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine – Chattanooga— the training program affiliated with Erlanger.

Dr. Pendley’s clinical interests include all things within the general cardiology scope of practice. When he’s not working, Dr. Pendley enjoys cycling, traveling, and doing “DIY” home projects.
