About / Overview
Dr. Okafor is a board-certified, fellowship-trained urologist who specializes in disorders of the female genitourinary system. After completing an undergraduate degree in Biology at Clayton State University in Morrow, Georgia, Dr Okafor earned his Medical Degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC. He then completed urology residency training at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse NY and went on to Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio, where he completed a fellowship in Female Pelvic medicine and Reconstructive surgery (FPMRS). Dr. Okafor offers medical and surgical treatment for various female urologic conditions including complications from prior urogynecologic surgeries. He specializes in minimally invasive robot assisted surgery for pelvic organ prolapse.
Dr. Okafor is a member of the American Urological Association and the Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine and Urogenital Reconstruction.
