About / Overview
Betsy Morton serves as the coordinator for Erlanger’s Nurse-Family Partnership program. As a certified nurse midwife with over 35 years of experience in
nursing, Betsy has worked in maternal child health, NICU, and labor and delivery. She enjoys working with mothers and their babies, and her love for this work flows from her faith.
When she’s not working, Betsy likes being outside, reading, and knitting. Health and nutrition are both very important to her. She and her husband moved to the Chattanooga area in 2000. They have four children and two dogs.
Our goals for you are:
- Have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.
- Become the best mom you can be.
- Learn and practice things that make you more confident as a mom, like breastfeeding, nutrition, child development, safe-sleep techniques, and much more.
- Get referrals for healthcare, childcare, job training, and other support services available in your community.
- Continue your education, develop job skills, or follow your dreams for the future.
