About / Overview

Dr. Adrienne Harrington is an internal medicine physician practicing at Erlanger Community Health Center – Premier Health. Originally from Chattanooga, she graduated from Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences before earning a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Vanderbilt University in 2001. Dr. Harrington then attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) in Memphis, where she contributed to NIH-funded diabetes research. Her work was presented at the Southern Medical Association Poster Presentation in 2005 and published in the Journal of Biological Chemistry in 2006. She also received the American Federation for Medical Research Aventis Award and the James R. Givens Award for her endocrinology research.

After completing her internal medicine residency at UTHSC, Dr. Harrington worked as a hospitalist for CHI Memorial for nine years. While she valued inpatient care, she transitioned to primary care in 2022 to focus on building long-term relationships with patients. She is excited to return to her hometown of Chattanooga, where she practices as a primary care physician, providing compassionate care to her community.
